How it works

  1. Complete your renewal details

    Enter your vehicle plate number or IC with HOI as usual and get your instant insurance, takaful and road tax quote.

  2. Look for 'Express Checkout' at checkout

    On the payment page, Express Checkout buttons appear above the regular card form.

  3. Tap 'G Pay' or Apple Pay

    Select Google Pay, or Apple Pay where supported by your browser and device.

  4. Confirm with biometrics

    Approve the payment using your fingerprint or Face ID. No card number or CVV to type.

  5. Get instant confirmation

    Your insurance, takaful and road tax are processed immediately, with an email receipt sent right away.

Express Checkout lets you pay using a card already saved in Google Pay or Apple Pay. No need to type your card number, expiry date, or CVV. Just tap, confirm with biometrics, and you're done.

Apple Pay availability depends on your browser and device. It generally works on Safari on iPhone, iPad, and Mac with a card added to your Apple Wallet. If Apple Pay isn't shown at checkout, use Google Pay, Credit/Debit Card, or any other method on this page.

No. With Express Checkout, your card details stay securely with Google Pay or Apple Pay and are never seen or stored by HOI. Only a one-time payment token is shared to process your renewal.

Google Pay works on most Android devices and Chrome browsers with a saved card. Apple Pay works on Safari on iPhone, iPad, and Mac with a card added to Apple Wallet. If your device doesn't support either, simply use Credit/Debit Card at checkout.
