Enforcement will be conducted through automated license plate recognition (ALPR) systems and other digital technologies. Law enforcement officers can also check the validity of a motorist’s license and road tax through the MyTransport app.
Q7: How long is the digitization interim period?
The government has not announced the duration of the digitization interim period. However, they have stated that the transition will be gradual and motorists will be given ample time to adapt to the new system.
